Prayer for More Peace

. . .that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

1 Timothy 2:2

 

Lord, I don’t want peace to be a once-in-a-while thing—I want to know peace as a way of life. Make me a conduit that brings harmony and serenity to all my relationships and interactions. Even when life is busy, I want to be a person who takes time to listen to others. Still my inner heart so I can give a smile or a kind word to another person and, through my actions, offer peace to them as well. In Jesus' name. Amen.
